Neurogenerative collabaration with brand C7MЬ

Коллекция генеративных принтов
The history of creating a clothing collection using generative design begins with the development of a virtual 3D model of a jacket by our 3D designers, Svetlana Solovyova and Olga Prodan, who designed and visualized virtual down jackets.

Svetlana Solovyova on the project: We created a 3D model of the future down jacket to be able to apply a print and examine it on a different scale. This allowed us to choose the best options for the collection without sewing additional samples.

Olga Prodan on the visualization of models: My task was to integrate the initial 3D layout from the designer and the finished physical garment into a unified digital model for creating short videos.

To achieve this, I made adjustments to the design of the down jacket, refined proportions, performed color correction of the original prints, as there is a loss of certain shades when printing a rapport on physical fabric during production. Then, I worked on the composition of the frame, lighting, and the pose in which the down jacket would be captured. At this stage, it is important to gather feedback from colleagues and the client before recording the video to ensure that expectations and reality align. Everything has its nuances, and that's what I focus on when acting as a visualizer.
The neuroartists also shared their personal experience of creating generative prints and told what they wanted to convey with their visual canvases.
Neuroartist Akopto: The global web, neural connections, and artificial intelligence are what unite us and should be publicly reflected in the inspiration of modern technologies and scientific discoveries.

With this design, I wanted to reflect the complexity and beauty of neural connections, which used to be something personal for us, but now unite our lives even in the most mundane things in combination with global networks and artificial intelligence.

This is to some extent an uncontrolled invitation to dive deeper into yourself, drawing attention to the smallest details, while remaining at first glance a universal and classic black-and-white combination of a pattern that dissolves you in the environment.

Neuroartist Valeria Titova on working on the project: For me, the main aspect during the creation of jackets for the C7M brand was the unique 'organic' representation of the idea of biological neural networks present in everyone's mind. Achieved through various threads, paint strokes, and thoughts.

There were a lot of sketches and ideas that I wanted to bring to life. One of these ideas involves neural networks, but without the 'cyber fleur'.

I wanted to create something strikingly different from the usual expectations: 'If it involves neural networks, there must be some terrible cyberpunk or neon.' So that the associations are not of the first order.

One of the designs featured on the jackets is reminiscent of a 'bee hive,' akin to a 'cocoon'—a bundle of energy and thoughts.

In the process, I had to project with the styles of various artists to achieve the final result.

At the time of creating this project in December 2022, I was working on the fourth version of the 'Journey of the Mind,' and it was ready for printing.

I am truly delighted that these prints were selected from among the numerous variations with different ideas.

This reflects the philosophy that neural networks are already a part of our lives, and they don't have any distinct style; they are simply one of the tools. Figuratively speaking, we already live in a cyberpunk world, but it doesn't look 'like in the movies.' Instead, it is beautiful, interesting, and captivates attention and eyes. Additionally, one of the prints was designed by our graphic designer, Maria Kogai.

Мария Когай: My design reflects the contemporary trends not only in the form of a collaboration between a person and modern technologies but also between two strong brands.

With such a global integration of neural networks, we often forget about the person themselves. The amazing realism and speed in implementing new art objects never cease to amaze. However, it is important to remember that this is a tool — a tool that opens up incredible new possibilities, giving even more value to the author who can apply them correctly.
