FAQ
What file formats are needed for digitizing products that already exist in the physical world?
1
Photos should be high-quality and taken from different angles. The item should
be photographed from the front, side and back + with cropped textures without
shadows. If it's a complex item, additional photos of the underside or top view
may be necessary, depending on the item's features. If there are small details,
unusual stitching, or buckles on the items, they should be photographed up
close
2
If you have photos of the items on a person, it's important to indicate the height
and size of the model on which the photos were taken
3
If you have ready-made 3D models of unique buttons, keychains or buckles that
are present on the item, it would be great if you could provide the source files
4
If there are logos on the models, they should be sent in PNG format. If there are
tags, they can be in JPG, PDF or PNG formats
5
If there are unique prints and seamless patterns on the models, the item should
be photographed in a laid-out position on a flat surface, in high quality
6
If you have color codes (RGB, Pantone) and digital templates, that would be a
huge plus. Another important point is that the more files you can provide, the more
accurate and cost-effective the digitization process will be (unless starting from
scratch to construct the model and create prints).
